Incarceration poses a set of life challenges many have no desire to endure however the transition to life after incarceration can sometimes pose an even bigger challenge. Many formerly incarcerated individuals lack support and therefore with limited to no support it leads to constant recidivism. It has been proven that those who have support and structured re-entry program are more likely to successfully transition back into their communities without returning to prison.
2nd Chance Living PMI track is designed to assist participants through the challenging transition of reentry by equipping participants with the skills necessary to transition back into the community and maintain life for themselves and their families post-incarceration. 2nd Chance Living PMI provides a sound curriculum and credentialing approach that supports the goal to ensure that offenders can gain the knowledge and skills needed to obtain long-term, living-wage employment, and transition successfully out of the corrections system.
Skills Achieved:
The interpersonal skills are a key component in the development of Participants who are capable productive citizens, responsible and goal oriented. In order that all Participants achieve to their potential, families, schools and the community must remove both academic and non-academic barriers to learning for optimal success.

The 2nd Chance Living PMI fast track is designed to increase employability of our participants. 2nd Chance Living PMI Career Readiness skills toolkit are crafted to address the social and emotional skills participants need to empower themselves to successfully navigate relationships within their family, school, college, and/or career as well as within the global marketplace.
