Trelise Baker founded 2nd Chance Living PMI in 2017, an organization that offers women who have been in the penal system resources, advocacy, support, and opportunities to start anew. As the President of the organization, Trelise is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of women who deserve a second chance.
Trelise's background as a business owner and community leader reflects her practical experience and leadership skills. Her firsthand knowledge of what it takes to lead and inspire women to succeed in both life and work is a valuable asset to the organization and the women it serves.
In her role as President, Trelise leads a team of dedicated staff and volunteers, guiding them in strategic planning for the organization's programs, fund development, and sustainability efforts. This demonstrates her commitment to ensuring that 2nd Chance Living PMI remains effective and continues to provide vital support to its target demographic.
Trelise's educational journey is also noteworthy. While she started with an Associate Degree from Lone Star College, her pursuit of a bachelor's degree as a recipient of Strayers University Fellows for Justice reflects her dedication to personal growth and her desire to be better equipped to serve the women in her organization. Ms. Henderson is a highly qualified individual with a strong background in office management, human resources, budgeting, quality assurance, team building, diversity, and strategic planning. She is an attentive leader with a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and an organized, driven, and efficient approach to meeting the needs of others. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Strayer University and is currently pursuing her MBA at Jack Welch Management Institute. Ms. Henderson has always been passionate about helping families grow and assisting others. She believes that hard work always pays off and is proud and humbled to be a part of the esteemed team at 2nd Chance Living PMI.
With over 25 years of experience, Ms. Henderson has a proven track record in program management and collaborative leader. She has successfully built outstanding teams and led various learning initiatives. Her ability to inspire and work with diverse groups is evident from her professional experience in non-profit organizations, relationship management, program development, and human service sectors.
